An intimate look inside Canada's Brockville Mental Health Centre, an institution for patients found not criminally responsible for violent offenses due to mental illness. What happens to people who suffer from mental illnesses and commit violent crimes? Where do they go? How are they treated? Little is known about the facilities -- once called asylums for the criminally insane -- to which some of these patients are sent. Delve inside the lives of patients, their struggles with their mental illnesses, and their hopes for potential rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
