Fran Whiteside is an certified sign language interpreter with over two decades of experience who starting developing courses as a hobby to help fellow interpreters locate suitable CEU opportunities. Today you'll find her courses proudly displayed at ASLCEUs where you can go to earn continuing education units that fit your busy lifestyle.

Spawning from her successful career and years of experience as an LTA, State CMP Coordinator, State District President and ITP Program Coordinator she went to work to create a user experience so interpreters could earn CEUs using a step by step approach. That humble idea has turned into a successful full-time venture creating, publishing and distributing courses that can fit into any interpreter’s busy schedule.

Fran’s varied interpreting background in educational (K - post secondary), mental health, medical, freelance, DeafBlind and years of experience in VRS and VRI along with an A.A. in Interpreting, B.A. in Communications and Sociology and M.Ed. in Education has given her the necessary skills to create thought provoking courses in a variety of categories to help you become a more well-rounded interpreter.
