Cathartic
What an excellent way to earn CEUs! Watching this film was cathartic in that, like Ruby, I was the only interpreter in my family and we were lived in an isolated rural area near the Canadian border. Loved the music throughout the film: Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell.

CODA
This film was very emotional and entertaining. You see the day to day isolations and struggles for Deaf family in a hearing environment and how they depend on the only hearing member in family, CODA. How the CODA has to even navigate among her hear peer and achieve her personal wants.

Enjoyable Movie
This movie, while entertaining, provided a glimpse of a CODA world, CODA parents world and those they interact with on a daily basis and the struggles that both CODA's experience during their childhood and beyond.
